Job Coach – Eau Claire Area

​The Job Coach works with developmentally disabled personnel to integrate them into the community workforce through job assistance and skill enhancement. This position will assist in the Eau Claire area.

Community Integration Specialist

​The Community Integration Specialist is responsible for planning, supervising and transporting individuals with disabilities to local businesses and events on a daily basis. Ideal candidate must enjoy interacting with others and learning about what our community has to offer. Must be comfortable with the Eau Claire City bus system and have a valid driver's license. CPR and First Aid certified preferred. May need to assist with some personal cares while out and about with our members. The Community Integration Specialist works closely with other staff to assure program consistency and generalization of learned skills in order for members to more fully integrate into the community and to encourage maximum independence.

Program Assistant - Menomonie

JOB SUMMARY: The Program Assistant evaluates the needs, develops and implements programs designed to meet the individual client needs. The assistant may work in both Vocational /Workshop setting and Day
Service/Community setting. The assistant works closely with other staff to assure program consistency
and generalization of learned skills in order for clients to more fully integrate into the community and to
encourage maximum independence.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma is required with preferred one year of successful experience working with
developmentally disabled individuals. Must pass a Caregiver Background Check
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL:

  • Assist clients with all aspects of personal care needs

  • Supervise activities and well being of clients and consumers

  • Maintains quality control required by job specifications

  • Designs and implements specific programs in work skill and day services

  • Keeps log/data/baseline information on individuals

  • Provides one-on-one training to individuals as needed

  • Implements a behavior program on specific clients as part of a team, using the least restrictive behavioral intervention

  • Works with team to assure a safe and orderly environment for clients

  • Maintains accurate/detailed client time card information

  • Writes semi-annual reports and assures they are submitted to the Coordinator by the 15th of each month

  • Works as part of Vocational and Day Service team to provide supervision, quality control and basic training according to objectives for clients

  • Supervises and assists clients before and after work transition, to and from transportation and during lunch and break times

  • Attends team meetings and shares relevant information

  • Responsible for workshop production and development them into the community​

Teacher - Hand In Hand Child Care

​

Basic Functions of Job-Summary The Early Childhood Teacher establishes and maintains a safe, healthy, nurturing, fully inclusive learning environment. They will provide a positive early childhood experience by encouraging children to develop a healthy self-concept and positive self-esteem. This person will work to advance each child’s skills in the following developmental areas: large and small motor, language/communication, social/emotional and cognitive. They will work to establish positive and productive relationships with families and other staff members in order to ensure a well-run, purposeful program responsive to individual child and family needs.

Lead Teacher - Hand In Hand

Child Care

​The Early Childhood Lead Teacher maintains a safe, healthy, nurturing, and learning environment for all children. They work with others to help advance each child’s skills for further life development while providing positive and constructive guidance and discipline.

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree related to Early Childhood Education and prior teaching experience

  • Experience working with children

  • Experience communicating with children and their parents

Assistant Teacher - Hand In Hand

Child Care

Helps sustain a safe, healthy, learning environment for the children. Establishes a positive and productive relationship with families to ensure the program is responsive to the child and family needs. Coordinates with Program Coordinators to help maintain the program in accordance with Hand in Hand’s philosophy, Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards and State of Wisconsin licensing rules and regulations.
